Crysis 1 Also Heading To PlayStation 3? [Rumor]

seems like the Xbox 360 is not the only one getting a port of the original Crysis. A simple ESRB rating search shows that the original Crysis may just make its way to the PlayStation 3 as well. The fact that it’s coming to consoles is interesting enough. I’ve always thought the original game was better than its sequel and it will be quite interesting to see CryENGINE 3 running Crysis 1.

It would be awesome to see this game on the consoles. I always thought the first one was so much better, I wonder if they’ll bring the destructible vegetation back again…that was really fun to watch.

It would have to either be Crysis 1 with Cryengine 3 or a dumbed down version of Cryengine 2.
A direct port without any detail loss would be impossible, even with 2 580s and a CPU @ 4.0ghz, this game still makes my system sweat at times.
