Dragon Mounts And Others – Possible Skyrim DLC, Or Free Content?

After Bethesda finished Skyrim, they developers had an entire week where they just pretty much made…well, anything they wanted to. And so they did, laboring for seven days to create the things they wanted to add into the game, just-because. The results of this work, however, leaves me awed. One of the biggest, and probably the most sought after of all the things created during the week would have to be:

Dragon Mounts

Yes, you heard right. Dragon mounts. I know I’m not the only one who thought they’d love to ride some of the dragons flying around Skyrim (even more so after a certain point in the game…). Just think of the possibilities! And not only that, you can also use your dragon mount to combat enemies. Oh yes, that’s right, you can get your newfound Dov (dragon tongue for the Dragon race) to burn your foes to a crisp.

Among other things, however, are also:

Fast Travel Waygates

Slow-Mo Kill Cams for Magic and Ranged attacks

Foliage that follows the seasons

Lycanthrope skill tree

Giant Enemy Crab

Build your own houses

Spears

Adoption

Kinect enabled Thu’um

Flow based water shaders

Of course, there are more than just this. But just think of the possibilities! Not just for the game, but for fans to create new content with. But of course, as they say, seeing is believing, so here’s the video:

I hope this gets released as free content packs, because I simply abhor DLC. Or Bethesda can release this as part of an expansion pack…*ahem*
