Epic Mickey 2 Going Cross Platform?
or those that were unaware, your fearless and valiant GB writer, lives in Orlando Fl. For those that are painfully unaware, Orlando happens to home to the world’s most famous and beloved rodent: Mickey Mouse. Last year we got a completely original game revolving around the mouse, Epic Mickey, that was a Wii exclusive…if the rumors are true, the Big Cheese is looking to spread some love to the other consoles for the next go around.
According to several sources, Epic Mickey 2 will no longer be exclusive to the Nintendo Wii but, like Lebron James, will be taking it’s talents to the other major gaming consoles as well (and, one would assume, either the Wii or WiiU). In addition to being accessible to a wider base of gamers, the core game play itself will be updated as well with a multiplayer element that was not found in the original. A “player split mode” will allow players to choose the role of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to play alongside Mickey.
The mouse has already taken over the world as the most recognizable corporate mascot…can he replace Mario as the most recognizable gaming character as well? It would be ‘Goofy’ to doubt his influence!
**Editors note: We apologize about all of the mouse and Disney related puns in this article. As a citizen of Orlando, James is forced to speak only in the highest regard of his merciful overlord Herr Mickey Mouse.**

Still, glad to see this game is getting a sequel. I hope this time Oswald the Rabbit gets the love he deserves.
